Social Listening: Maybelline

Image
The brand I chose to write about is Maybelline. I made my decision based on my love for their products. I use Maybelline products, and am even wearing one of their newest mascaras as I am writing this. I am obsessed with their products and so are many others. When I looked into Maybelline’s social media platforms for my research, they had a lot of mixed feedback and thoughts that I found while reading through their comments section. Many comments were very positive where people shared their love for the products under each post. For example, @calleighcharmed shared how she uses Maybelline’s new foundation every day and how she loves the product. I, too, really love their foundations and have had great success using them in the past.       There was also lots of other positive feedback given such as by @vonstypcosmetics, @missheatherariana, and @priyajha887. These comments in addition to many others show people's enthusiasm for the products.     Of course, there can not only be po

Hello everyone! My name is Sienna Lacy, and I am beginning my third term here at Linn Benton Community College. My major is business, but more specifically, I am pursuing the Practical Business Management degree here at LB. My reason for choosing this class (Principles of Marketing), is first of all because it is a required class, but also because it intrigues me to see what catches people's attention and makes them want to buy the things they buy. I am most interested in learning about using social media to influence people to gravitate towards a particular product or service. I dream about one day opening up my own shop, and I believe social media is an incredible asset for marketing.   Outside of my busy college schedule, some of my interests include painting, drawing, hiking, and travel. Three years ago my family went to Japan and next summer we plan to go to Europe. There are so many wonderful places to go see and explore.  Kayaking at Clear Lake
